I have been wanting a smart scale for quite sometime now. I was recently sent the Onedekko bluetooth smart scale. Here is my review so you can see what I liked and what I didn’t.

I have always been a bit obsessed with my weight. I think it’s because I have always been on a diet. If you want to know more about that you can check out this post here. After getting Bariatric surgery I still find myself obsessing (but now in a good way) on my weight. I am now more concerned in my BMI, body muscle, body fat and body bone numbers than with the actual weight number. So it was finally time to let go of my old scale and look into a smart scale. As you can imagine I was ecstatic to receive the Onedekko Blue Tooth Smart Scale to review. I could not wait to test it out. I think there is no denying the health benefits of keeping an eye on one’s weight and body fat. This smart scale promises to do the job well and comes with a really nice set of features.

The feature that I liked the most (and the one I was most interested in) is that all the data from the scale gets transferred and stored in the app on your smart phone.

The Onedekko Bluetooth Smart Scale measures more than fat and pounds. The scale uses 4 sensitive electrodes and 4 precision sensors to analyze a number of important parameters including body weight, BMI, bone mass, body water, muscle mass, body fat rate, visceral fat level, and calories.

Unboxing Overview

As soon as I received the Onedekko Bluetooth Smart Scale’s box, I couldn’t wait to open it. I immediately loved the scale when I took it out of the box. The sleek design of this scale is really nice, it’s a square scale in stunning black color (white is also available) and after looking the scale over, I was impressed with its strong build quality. A smooth black tempered glass platform, and safety-conscious rounded corners give this scale a sturdy feel and beautiful aesthetics.

The back of the scale is equipped with four large feet and a battery compartment. The four feet are the major plus for me, they not only improve stability on the floor, but also lower the possibility of slip.

Through the small battery compartment there’s a button where you can switch between kg / lbs / st, it is very simple to do. This scale uses 4 AAA batteries which came included.

Track Your Body Data in OKOK·International App

The Onedekko Bluetooth Smart Scale is incredibly simple to use. Just download the OKOK·International app (which is available on iOS and Android platforms), in your smartphone first. Then just pair your smartphone with the scale by weighing yourself via Bluetooth 4.0.

I absolutely love that this scale is built for your ultimate convenience. There’s no need to bend down to check the results on the LED screen, instead you can see them from the app in real time. All of your weight data can is stored in the OKOK·International app, which support storing several profiles. This would makes the scale suitable for sharing with family members.

I really liked how easy it was to set up, and pair. However I did have an issue when it came to the app keeping my body fat rate, and visceral fat level. I keep getting a message saying that the fat measurement failed. I have tried it on several occasions all with the same result. I am a bummed at that since this was one of the main features I wanted. It does tell me both the body fat rate, and the visceral fat level on the scale when I weigh myself. But I would really love it if it also was able to store the information on the app.

Since this was the only hiccup, and everything else works as it’s supposed to, I am pleased with the scale and it’s features. This is definitely a product that I would recommend.
