Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach offers a fun, and interactive way to spend an afternoon. If you’re looking for a place you can take your kids when you’re in Myrtle Beach, the Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach provides an exciting place you can go to learn about sea life and underwater creatures.

Once inside the aquarium, you’re free to walk around and explore.

There are signs throughout the aquarium that offer fun and interesting facts about the creatures.

There are also shows like the Ray Bay Mermaid Show, and the Rainbow Rock Dive Show. They also have many feedings that you can watch like feeding of the lobsters, jellyfish, and sea dragons!

We had two absolute favorite things. The first of the two is the Friendship Flats, where you can touch sharks and stingrays! That was really fun, and Aarons absolute favorite. As you can see in this picture.

The second one of our favorites was the Shark Tunnel! This is such an amazing tunnel where we saw sharks and many other fish!

Personally my favorite part about visiting the Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach was learning about different underwater creatures. My family and I have been to many aquariums throughout the US, and we love to see how each center has different creatures and fun facts.

Another thing that really stood out for us was that the staff members were super nice and friendly to everyone. Each person we encountered was very helpful and offered interesting information we didn’t know before. Plus I also watched how they interacted with other visitors and they were the exact same way, which was wonderful to see. I also loved that there are several places in the aquarium where you can stop and rest if you need to.

If you are planning to visit the Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach, plan to spend at least two hours there minimum! There’s plenty to see and lots to learn. There is also tons of parking. Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach is located in an area that is surrounded by parking and great places. Some of the things around Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach are: Dragon’s Lair Fantasy Golf, Margaritaville Restaurant Myrtle Beach, Hard Rock Cafe, and Broadway at the Beach just to name a few. We enjoyed Broadway at the Beach, it’s an outdoor entertainment center with more restaurants, shopping, live shows & family attractions.

This sounds like it would be a fun day. The shark tunnel would definitely impress my nephews.

Sounds like a fun place, but I definitely wouldn’t be touching the sharks and stingrays. I didn’t know Ripley’s did anything but ‘believe it or not’ museums, good to see they are branching out in other ways. I love a good aquarium, I could spend all day just watching fish. I’d probably go by myself and just relax and get lost in their world.
