Last month we were chosen to participate in the the Goosebumps 2 Challenge. To see how much fun we had check out this post. And on Christmas Day we watched the digital copy of Goosebumps 2. Here’s what we thought about it.

Goosebumps 2 ~ Movie Review

We didn’t have a chance to see Goosebumps 2 while it was still in theaters, so we couldn’t wait to see it now. We had such a blast doing the challenge that we were glad to have gotten a digital copy of the movie. We saw it on Christmas Day which was the first day it was available on digital. We grabbed popcorn and our gummy bears and sat down to enjoy.

Goosebumps 2 had kids in major roles which had my youngest really excited. My boys absolutely love Halloween, if it was up to them it would be Halloween year round. So this movie was right up their alley. This movie is fun and family-friendly. We all enjoyed how much this movie made us laugh. Slappy is my boys’ favorite character and in this movie he takes center stage which is great. All in all this was a really fun movie that the whole family enjoyed!

Synopsis:

Be careful what you wish for. With their after school junk business, best friends Sonny and Sam hope to find treasure in other people’s trash. But when cleaning out the old Stine house, they open a locked book that frees a supernatural nightmare- Slappy! Now, with the help of Sonny’s sister Sarah, they’re in a race against time to get the sinister dummy and all the creatures he’s brought to life back into the pages before he unleashes total pandemonium!
