We have always wanted a Betta Fish, but we didn’t want any old tank. We wanted to have a perfect home for it, one that would be great for it. We started researching for the perfect home and came across the EcoQube C.

Unboxing the EcoQube C

The EcoQube C Aquarium is a self-cleaning system. That’s not all it is though…it is so much more. It provides a serene environment for the fish that is kept in it. How this works is the following: your fish creates waste, the filter takes the waste and turns it into fertilizer for the plant. The plant then grows and cleans the water for the fish. The process then repeats. We were so excited to be receiving the EcoQube C, and wanted to share our thoughts about it with you. Let’s unbox it…

I really appreciated how well packed it came. There was no way it was getting damaged in shipping.

Here is what it looks like right out of the box. You can see the light, the aquarium, little box where the plant will be, and the power adapter. Not pictured are the plant medium and basil seeds that were also included.

Another thing I really appreciated was that aside from the EcoQube C we also received the EcoQube C Accessories Bundle. This bundle includes aquarium safe sand,

the glass cover,

and the mountain stone

My son Aaron and I loved setting it up together, this is definitely a great product to bond over! It was super easy to set up. One of the things we really love is that the EcoQube C has so many lighting color choices. Here a some of them…

Can you see what’s missing….

We are missing the plant and a Betta fish. Our basil seed is in the plant medium, and the instructions recommend waiting to get a fish until a plant is growing. So we will be waiting until that happens to add our fish. Be sure to follow our Instagram to see once our plant begins to grow, and when we add our fish. We are so in love with our EcoQube C and know that we will love it even more once we add our fish to it.

Aqua Design Innovations (the makers of the EcoQube C) have so many great products available. Now that we have tried and loved the EcoQube C I really want to get the EcoQube Air which can help alleviate insomnia by adjusting your circadian rhythm. I would use it to grow either Microveggies or Mint. I would also love the EcoQube Frame! Which is a vertical microgreen garden! Mmmmm Microveggies… do you see a trend here?
