My oldest recently decided that he was going to give drawing and sketching a try. I was thrilled because I too love to draw and paint. My middle son is already a big fan and has his own trace light. So when my oldest decided that he loved sketching, I wanted to get him his own trace light.

The trace light that my middle son has was out of stock so I started to look into other possible products to try. That is when I came across the PEMENOL Trace Light. It was the price that initially called my attention. I think that for what the Amazon listing promised it was a great prize. So I decided to give it a try. I was a little skeptical when I saw the box, because it didn’t weigh a thing plus it was thin. But when I opened it I was pleasantly surprised!
I really liked how lightweight this trace light it. Between the weight and the size this is definitely portable. Which is great because my son wanted something he would be able to take to a friend’s house. I also liked the things that were included with the trace light.
We received the USB power cord (of course), a clip, a pencil, and three very pretty pictures that are great for tracing and then painting or coloring.
On the back there are six little foam feet. The only thing that I didn’t like about these feet is that because of how they are placed when I put pressure on the trace light it does push down a bit. Take a look at my unboxing video below to see what I mean.
Other than that I really like the ruler on the top and side of it, as well as the cute little guy that is the power/dimmer control.
