Sequence For Kids ~ Summer Fun Games Series Post #5

Because I have my nieces (ages 2.5 & 5) over all the time, and I love having fun things for them to do. Sequence for Kids is a super fun board game that we all enjoy. The main thing that I love about this game is that you can modify this game for players of any age. To play you put down a card from your hand and place a chip on a corresponding game board space. When you have 4 in a row, it’s a “sequence” and you win. The twist comes in with unicorns and dragons – a unicorn card can be used to place your chip anywhere or a dragon card can be used to remove your opponent’s chip. This little bit of strategy makes this game interesting for preschoolers and grown ups alike.

The game comes with one game board, 42 game cards and 84 game chips in four different colors (red, yellow, green and blue). This game can be played by up to four players or up to four teams. The overall goal of this game is to form a row of four same-colored chips on the game board before the other players or teams do. To win, the row of chips can be placed horizontally, vertically or diagonally.

I really like that this game includes enough strategy that kids are challenged, and enough randomness that they have a chance to win against adults. All of us enjoy playing this game, Sequence for Kids really is fun for the whole family!
