I first played Clue as a teen and was immediately hooked on this game. I love solving mysteries and that’s why I have always enjoyed this game. I am lucky that I can now play this game with my boys. This game is exactly how I remember it! I’ve always liked the thrill of opening that envelope to see if I was right in who the murderer was. I’m thrilled to say that the adrenaline rush of finding out the answer hasn’t totally escaped me even after all of these years!
As soon as we got this game I set it up and played it with my oldest. This was his first time playing this game. Based on his facial reactions I knew that he thought the game was fun to play. I loved watching the his mind work as he checked off suspect, weapons, and rooms on his detective sheet. He also liked the fact that this was a game that I used to play as a kid. I enjoyed watching how much he got into the game.
In the box you will find: A Gameboard, 6 suspect tokens, 6 weapons, decks of suspect, weapon and room cards, a confidential case file, a detective notebook pad, a die and rules. This game is intended for ages 8 and up.
If you’re on the fence as to whether or not your family would enjoy playing this game on family game night, I can only say one word… YES! It’s a quick, semi-easy game that is also loads of fun!

For generations, Mr Boddy has met his end at the hand of one of six legendary suspects in the classic detective game, CLUE. Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, Miss Scarlett and Colonel Mustard are all here in Boddy Mansion. One of them has done away with Mr Boddy, but in which of the nine rooms (perhaps the Library, or Lounge, or Conservatory)? And which of the six weapons was used to commit this dastardly dead(the wrench, the rope, or maybe the trusty ol’ lead pipe)? Collect the right clues, make the right deductions, to determine who? where? which weapon? and you will solve the mystery and win the game.

I love Clue! It was one of my favorites as a kid, so I am glad that they still have a Classic version available to purchase. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
