PlasmaCar ~ Holiday Gift Idea
I am always on the lookout for toys that will get my boys off their electronics and out in the fresh air. I also love toys that do not use batteries, wind up or any of that. Recently I heard about PlasmaCar by PlaSmart and boy was I intrigued. My boys are huge fans of ride on toys, so I knew this would be a hit with them. It also doesn’t run on batteries or wind up in any way, so it’s a big hit for me.
When it arrived I was a bit surprised at the size of the box. It was bigger than I expected, which is totally understandable since can hold up to 220 pounds. Yup you read that right, who says only the kids can have fun! We opened the box and found 5 pieces, the body of the car, two back wheels, the front wheels in 1 piece and the steering wheel. The assembly of the PlasmaCar was unbelievably easy, it must have taken me eight minutes top.
Aaron was the first one of my boys to give the PlasmaCar a try. He absolutely loved it, it was easy for him to figure out how to wiggle the steering wheel to make it go. My other two boys loved it as well. They couldn’t wait to take it outside for a spin. We headed to the driveway, my husband wanted to give it a try the minute he got home. Everyone had such a blast and spent hours outdoors.
It wasn’t long before the kids on our street came over to see what we were riding. They all took turns and I can safely say that PlasmaCar is a winner in everyone’s book. The PlasmaCar moves in an S-shaped path, and you steer with the wheel at the same time as you wiggle it. Just turn the wheel around 180 degrees to go in reverse.
We have the Blue and Red PlasmaCar, but they come in a variety of colors.
