At Dawn: An Alex Troutt Thriller Book Tour & Giveaway

If you follow my book reviews then you know that I love a good mystery, and I love John W. Mefford’s books! At Dawn is the fourth book in this amazing series and it’s just as fabulous as the other three. If you read my previous reviews on the books in this series, you will see that one of the reasons I love them is that they are set in Boston. This one however is set in South Padre Island! I absolutely love it there and it was a place where we used to at least every month when we lived in Texas.

In this book Alex takes a much needed vacation with her kids. They head down to South Padre Island to hopefully visit Alex’s dad. Alex doesn’t have a great relationship with her dad but is looking to reconnect. Things don’t go as planned because of a shootout, where somehow her dad’s girlfriend is involved. Messy right! Well I loved how this story flows and how we get to know more about Alex and her family. I have to say…At Dawn is my favorite of the four books. I don’t know how to keep going with out spoiling the book for you, so I will stop here. Just know that this is a story you will not want to miss!
