From My Family To Yours…Happy Thanksgiving!
I believe that everyone should make it a habit to say “thank you”. Not just to mutter the words but to actually express true appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. I honestly believe that when you truly appreciate those around you, you will soon find that others around you will start to appreciate those around them as well. Can you imaging a world full of appreciation, it would truly be a world a lit different than the one we live in now.
Here is one of my favorite poems…
“Let us rise up and be thankful,
for if we didn’t learn a lot today,
at least we learned a little,
and if we didn’t learn a little,
at least we didn’t get sick,
and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die;
so, let us all be thankful.”Buddha
And here are some things I am thankful for this 2015…
I’m thankful for a supportive family, amazing friends and awesome blogger buddies that make each day enjoyable.
I am thankful for my amazing boys! My kids are my heroes. Their unconditional love for each other and because they love to give back to their community and to those who are in need. They are helpful and great kids.
I’m thankful for the new opportunities that are presented to me on a daily basis. Whether they be in creating new personal relationships, building lasting ones, preparing for my posts, and participating in community service. Opportunities that I am given everyday, I try not to ignore these opportunities or take them for granted.
This one kind of ties in with the first. I am extremely thankful for all of the blessings I have in life. I would not be where I am today without family, friends, and most importantly, God.
I am thankful for my good health. I am definitely not as healthy as I’d like to be, but things could definitely be worse.
I am thankful for the chance to learn, grow, and to travel the world. what can I say life is good!
I am thankful for living in the greatest country on earth
