Boutique Chocolatier Wins Two Silvers At International Awards!

Continuing to build on what is now a delicious series of success stories and honors, Fruition Chocolate has been awarded two prestigious Americas Silvers for its Maranon Milk and its Barrel Aged Dark Milk bars at the 2015 International Chocolate Awards.

“It’s such an honor to be recognized, but even more incredible is the amazing support and camaraderie among the chocolate community,” says chocolatier Bryan Graham.

The International Chocolate Awards, founded in 2012, is an independent competition, recognizing excellence in fine chocolate making and in the products made with fine chocolate. As the World’s only fully independent international fine chocolate competition, it aims to support companies producing fine chocolate and chocolatiers, small companies and artisans working with fine chocolate. By helping these markets to grow and develop, the group also aims to support the farmers that grow fine cacao.

It’s been a whirlwind year for Fruition, which opened a second Hudson Valley boutique in Woodstock, NY this spring and introduced a new line of sweets, including filled chocolates and confections, with flavors including Honey Rosemary Ganache, Banana Rum Pecan and Crispy Cashew Gianduja with Strawberry Preserves.

The artisan chocolatier also gained accolades on, which recently called it one of the “top makers in the field of craft chocolate,” saying its dark chocolate with milk bar “just might change your worldview.”

Fruition is one of only a handful of chocolatiers in the United States that also produces all of their chocolate directly from the cocoa bean. Dessert Professional Magazine has recognized Bryan Graham as one of the Top 10 Chocolatiers in North America, earning the 2013 Gold Seal from Good Food Awards for his Dark Milk with Fleur de Sel chocolate bar, along with three Silver medals at the International Chocolate Awards the same year. Most recently, Fruition was awarded first place for its new Marañón Dark Milk Chocolate 68% at the Northwest Chocolate Festival.
