Apple-Kale Smoothie Recipe
You probably know by now about my addiction to smoothies. I must confess my smoothies almost never contain veggies. Yes I know that’s probably a bad thing, however I’ve been trying to incorporate more veggies into my smoothies. Here’s a recipe for a sweet, thick, and satisfying Apple-Kale Smoothie!
Ingredients:
2 Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped
4 cups chopped fresh kale
2 cups 100% apple juice
2 cups crushed or cubed ice
Directions:
1. Combine apples, kale, juice and ice in a blender.
2. Cover and pulse until smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
3. Serve and enjoy!

I am the opposite. I love veggies and just a dash of fruit. I am really bad at incorporating a mix of fruit. I normally stick to apple. little steps one sip at a time!
