I believe that a establishing a bedtime routine is very important, regardless if your child suffers from Enuresis or not. Previously I had told you how my oldest suffers from Enuresis and how that has caused night anxiety. Now that I’ve partnered with GoodNites® and have been introduced to GoodNites® Disposable Bed Mats our bedtime routine goes much more smoothly. Every night he brushes his teeth, uses the bathroom, and hops into bed. We then take turns reading pages from a book. Currently he is into chapter books, so we read a couple chapters each night. I tuck him in and turn out the light. We keep a night light on in the kitchen and the bathroom to ease his anxiety of getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Being almost nine, his self esteem has been low due to his bed wetting, but GoodNites® Dispoable Bed Mats have changed that. He feels so independent now because if he wets the bed in the middle of the night he knows how to change the bed mat. Place the mat on top of fitted sheet. Peel the adhesive strips off the corners and smooth down. Protect the bed with the ultra-absorbent bed mat. He easily removes and disposes of the used one, places a new one on, and changes his pajamas. He hops back into bed and is no longer embarrassed to wake me up to help him change the sheets.
GoodNites® Disposable Bed Mats have helped his self esteem and has made him more independent. Which has in turn ease his night anxiety, and that means less bed wetting. Now it’s more depending on how his day went. Because psychological stress is what causes his Enuresis, easing his night anxiety reduces his stress.
I am so happy with GoodNites® Disposable Bed Mats, for many reasons. For example: GoodNites® Disposable Bed Mats are ultra-absorbent, they stay in place all night and cut down on laundry and clean-up, they provide simple and easy nighttime protection in just three easy steps, And they are a practical solution to discreetly and conveniently manage bed wetting. I highly recommend them to anyone who has kids 4 yrs old or older and who suffer from Enuresis.

This sounds like a good solution for bed wetting. I have friends who have kids suffering with this, and I’ll be sure to recommend.
Thanks Tamara, It really has helped both my son and I to make handling his Enuresis a lot easier. 🙂
