One of my favorite things about fall is warm apple cider! Here is my recipe for an easy apple cider. Not only is this recipe easy, it also fills the house with wonderful aromas. It’s great for cold days, and kids love it late at night too. Make it for a shower, or get together. The slow cooker keeps it warm, so guests can enjoy it through the night. When it’s done, it’s great mixed with spiced rum and/or a slice of orange! Leftover cider is great cold too!
Let’s go over the ingredients:
1 (64 fluid ounce) bottle
3 cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon whole allspice
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1/3 cup brown sugar
Directions:
In a slow cooker, combine apple cider and cinnamon sticks.
Wrap allspice and cloves in a small piece of cheesecloth, and add to pot.
Stir in brown sugar and bring to a boil over high heat.
Reduce heat, and keep warm
I just know you’ll like it as much as I do!
