A Pup Above Fresh Dog Food
Bruno has always been a picky eater, but as he’s gotten older we’ve noticed that he prefers fresh food over dry. As I mentioned above recently Bruno tried out the A Pup Above sampler pack. The sampler pack includes Chicka Chicka Bow Wow (includes friendly grains), Turkey Pawella Recipe (includes friendly grains), Texas Beef Stew (grain free), and Porky’s Luau (grain free).
All four of these flavors were a big hit with Bruno, and it has him looking forward to meal time. He quickly learned that we kept it on the top shelf and would try to jump at it whenever we opened the fridge. It was really adorable. I really appreciate that, unlike other brands, A Pup Above cooks their fresh dog food sous vide. This cooking method helps food retain more taste and nutrients. While Bruno has no idea what sous vide is or means I can tell he noticed the difference in the taste.
The food arrived very well frozen, but it was easy to thaw in the fridge overnight. Bruno likes to eat it cold right from the fridge. However, if you need to you can add hot water to warm it up. Bruno does not have a favorite flavor, he loved all four of them and rapidly gobbled the food up!
