The Stubborn Little Coconut by P. B. Ayala
The Stubborn Little Coconut is an adorable and well-written book. It truly brings to light how common it is for kids to have fear. It teaches us as parents that we should be understanding and how to ease our kid’s fears. This truly is a great book!
The Stubborn Little Coconut is available on Amazon and your favorite bookseller.
About The Book
Outside a little girl’s window, seven coconuts hang in a tree. One, in particular, is her favorite: the one with the smile. The coconuts begin to fall but not her favorite one. He just keeps getting bigger, and so does his grin.
Too late, the coconut realizes he’s alone in his tree and afraid of the dark. The little girl is scared of the dark, too, so when the smiling coconut finally decides to fall, she is ready to take him home.
Together, they overcome their fear of the dark. With the help of friends, both the coconut and little girl learn they have nothing to be afraid of, not when surrounded by twinkling light.
