Wonderful Halos Love Bugs DIY
When it comes to citrus Wonderful Halos Mandarins are a must in our home. They have been a favorite among my boys since they were little because of how easy to peel they are. I remember the pride they would have because they had peeled them on their own. We also all like how sweet and delicious they are.
A couple of weeks ago I was contacted to see if we would like to share a DIY with you using Wonderful Halos. Of course, I had to agree since I thought the little “Halos Love Bugs” are adorable and would be the perfect Valentine’s Day craft. We received a 5lb bag of Wonderful Halos as well as all the needed materials. Let me now take you step by step and show you how to make this adorable craft.
Wonderful Halos Mandarins
Foam Hearts (both small and large)
Using the glue dots, adhere a large foam heart underneath the Halos mandarin to create feet.
Insert one toothpick into the bottom point of a foam heart or use a glue dot on the back of the foam heart to adhere). Repeat for the second antenna.
Insert the antennae into the top of the Halos mandarin next to eah other.
Use the glue dots to attach the googly eyes to the front of your love bug.
Use glitter glue to make a cute little button nose and there you have it!
Wonderful Halos are an excellent source of Vitamin C. One serving (two medium mandarins) contains 50% of the recommended daily value. Halos are also a great source of fiber and provide a natural energy boost.
