Ring Fit Adventure ~ Fall Into Fitness with Nintendo
With the craziness of this pandemic, everyone in our household has gained a few pounds. So we have been looking for fun ways to get fit together as a family. That’s where the Ring Fit Adventure for the Nintendo Switch comes in. We were very excited to give this one a try!
Ring Fit Adventure has really exceeded all of our expectations. We love that it combines both fitness and fun since it’s so much more than just another exercising game. It has a fun adventure story mode with lots of challenges and battles to beat. We also really like that Ring Fit Adventure allows for several profiles. This was we can each have our own profile and we are able to challenge each other.
Those that know me will tell you that I can be very competitive, especially with myself. So I love going back and replay the mini-games to improve my score. And I really like how accomplished I feel when I complete a level, and it encourages me to keep doing it day after day.
Just because this is an interactive game I don’t want you to think that it won’t give you a full workout. For the first week of giving it a try, I was waking up sore every single morning. Even now I still get sore a bit, especially if I’m working out new muscles.
Another thing we like is how easy it is to learn the workouts. I like that the game guides you through tutorials for each different exercise and teaches you how to play every step of the game. The menu gives you the options to easily select a generic workout, go on an adventure through the story mode, or play a mini-game. We play the mini-games whenever we want to compete against each other.
I am not sure if I’ve mentioned it before but this school year all three of my boys are doing school remotely from home. So the Ring Fit Adventure has helped tremendously to keep them active after school.
So for all these reasons and more we highly recommend Nintendo’s Ring Fit Adventure! This would make an amazingly fun holiday gift or gift for any occasion.
You can find the Ring Fit Adventure on Amazon, Target, BestBuy, or your favorite retail store.
About Ring Fit Adventure
Explore a fantastical adventure world to defeat a bodybuilding dragon and his minions using real-life exercises! Traverse grass-swept plains by jogging in place, attack enemies with overhead shoulder presses, and refill your health meter by striking some yoga poses. Two new accessories, Ring -Con and Leg Strap, measure your real-world actions and help turn them into in-game movements. With additional minigames, Ring Fit Adventure is a great escape for players of all skill levels and schedules.
In Adventure mode, defeat enemies with attacks based on real-world exercises! As you work through each level (and possibly work up a sweat), you’ll earn experience points. Between fights, you may encounter some unusual methods of transportation such as squat-powered launch pads, and more! Want to compete with others? Pass around the Ring-Con accessory and select from a few minigames: break boxes with gusts of air, craft pottery using squats, and many others.
I have bought Nintendo game systems for my grandkids, but I don’t own one. I never thought that it could be used for exercising! I think this game sounds fun. When something is fun, it doesn’t feel like work or something you have to do. I do like adventures! I pinned on Pinterest and shared on Facebook and Twitter. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Sue, Thanks for Pinning and sharing. This game truly is lots of fun! 🙂
