TRUFF is Bringing the Heat to the Super Bowl ~ Recipe
If there’s one thing that I always serve on Super Bowl Sunday it has to be Buffalo Wings. This year however I have changed up the hot sauce I used. I have always used that red buffalo sauce that everyone used for their wings. Recently I received Black Truffle Infused hot sauce to try from TRUFF. So I am going to make my wings using this sauce.
The first thing I liked about this sauce is the packaging. The bottle is so adorable and has a classy and high-end vibe to it. Once we opened it up and gave it a try we were completely blown away! I have always loved the truffle flavor so I cook with truffle oil often. This TRUFF hot sauce is amazing! The flavor is a perfect balance of truffle and heat! I am loving it and it has to be the best hot sauce I’ve tried. I have tried it on eggs, on rice (yup I’m weird like that), in buffalo chicken dip, and of course in the wing recipe below. Okay, enough of the chatting I love this sauce so much that I could go on forever. But you guys are here for the recipe, I made this recipe and it came out absolutely amazing! I hope you give it a try, and if you share it on social media please tag me.
TRUFF’s TRUFFalo Chicken Wings
2 lbs chicken wings
2 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp vegetable oil
½ cup TRUFF hot sauce
¼ cup BBQ sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp butter, melted
Preheat oven to 375F.
Add foil to a baking sheet then top with chicken wings. Brush chicken with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake for 45 minutes to an hour so the skin is crispy and chicken is cooked through.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine TRUFF, BBQ Sauce, honey and butter.
Remove wings from oven and brush hot sauce mixture over each chicken wing.
Adjust temperature to a low broil and place back into the oven for another 4 minutes or so (watching carefully so it doesn’t burn).
Remove from oven and serve with ranch.
