Crave Hazelnut Flavored Coffee Pods Review
We have tried many hazelnut flavored coffees. Recently we had the chance to try out Crave’s hazelnut flavored coffee. In the past, we’ve had the pleasure of trying out other Crave flavors thanks to the variety packs we’ve reviewed. So we were happy to give their hazelnut flavor a try.
In case you’re wondering I find I often judge coffee companies on their ability to execute a good flavored coffee. Not like there’s a one true coffee flavor to measure all coffee brands by. Hazelnut happens to be my favorite, so that’s usually the first flavor I will try.
That being said if you’re a coffee company and can’t make a great tasting hazelnut I’m probably going to dismiss you as a whole (whether that’s fair or not).
When it arrived we immediately brewed a cup and I’m happy to let you know that Crave absolutely nailed it. Their hazelnut has a great subtle, gentle, nutty hazelnut flavor. The hazelnut flavor is not at all overpowering, but you can definitely tell it’s there. It is nice on the palate, which we found to be a medium roast.
This coffee manages to succeed in most of the other key factors that we look for which I like. It’s fresh, fragrant, and perfect for relaxing when you wake up in the morning. Which in our book is an optimal way to ease into your day with a delicious cup of coffee. Honestly, though I could drink this one all day!
