Recently I was contacted to see if I wanted to try Spinato’s new broccoli crust pizza. These pizzas are naturally gluten-free and have a very subtle broccoli flavor, which makes them the perfect veggie-packed option for even the pickiest of eaters. I had been wanting to find a broccoli crust pizza that I would love so, of course, I said yes.
While I was a bit disappointed to see that the broccoli crusts are not Keto-friendly, they do have good ingredients and are gluten-free. Plus if these pizzas help with sneaking in more veggies into the boys’ diets it’s already a winner!
The first pizza we tried was the Mediterranean Supreme. I really liked how delicious the pizza looked when I took it out of the oven. Since the four of us were going to try it, I sliced the pizza into four pieces.
The flavor of this pizza (just like the other blends of their pizzas) was right on point. I love supreme pizza, it has always been my favorite! And this one from Spinato’s did not disappoint in flavor. But I’m here to tell you about the crust as well. The crust is thin and if you’re like me (who loves thin crust pizza) you’ll really enjoy this one. I really liked how crispy the edges of the crust turned out. The only thing that all of us would change is that it isn’t crispy throughout. When I picked up the slice it was droopy towards the tip. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t soggy, but it was definitely soft.
This was an issue with all of the pizzas so I know it had nothing to do with the toppings. It was absolutely delicious though and the boys say they want us to keep buying it! Bottom line: We will definitely be getting more of these. This will be easy since Spinato’s NEW Broccoli Crust Pizza is available in nearly 2,000 stores across the country.
