My silly little gang and I are thrilled to have had the chance at unboxing the April Gramma in a Box. This subscription box brings yummy goodies for you to put together! We hope you enjoy this unboxing as much as we did.
Unboxing The April Gramma In A Box
This is the second Gramma in a box that we received and we loved it just as much as the first one! Gramma in a box is a monthly subscription that features cookies to decorate and candy treats to make. Although this box is created by a grandmother it can be for anyone! My boys and I have found this subscription to be absolutely delightful, and so much fun!
The cost of the box is $20.00 per month + free shipping. But I would recommend the longer subscriptions since you can save more that way. For example: If you subscribe with the auto debit program for only $20 per month, the first box is only $10.
I truly believe that what makes this box unique is that it was created by an actual Grandma. She has designed it to give you and your family fun activities that you can complete together without all of the work.
I know that I have mentioned it before, but I really like how it comes all wrapped up and the Gramma in a Box sticker.
The first thing you’ll find in the box is the main card that describes the candy and cookie projects for this month. On the back, it lists the contents of the box as well as a list of items that you would need from home. Don’t worry though because they are all staples found in any home. This month’s theme is Spring Cookies and Candy!
Along with the main card, there are individual cards for each of the projects. These cards include the recipe, instructions, and ingredients.
There were lots of goodies in our box, let’s go through them one by one.
1 bag of mini marshmallows and popsicle sticks.
4 oz Rice Noodles
M&M’s, Jellybeans, and assorted sprinkles.
4 oz Yellow melting chocolate
2 pcs. of Wax Paper
Assorted toppings
3 Tubes of frosting in pink, blue, and yellow.
6 small Paper cups
8 assorted Spring theme cookies
We absolutely love how easy to follow the instructions are. They made doing all the projects easy and super fun! Here is a picture of how our cookies came out. I think the boys did a great job!
Terry Chamberlin the grandma behind Gramma in a Box has a special offer for you! Use code: 10off (lower case) for an additional $10 off the 3, 6, or 12 month prepaid program here.
Boxes generally ship the first week of each month. Any orders received by the 3rd of any month will automatically receive that month’s box. The items are perishable so we recommend you do your cookie and candy projects within 5 days of receipt.
This is such a great box for kids. I think learning to cook at a young age is important!
I absolutely agree! My boys have been cooking with me for a while! 🙂
These boxes are so much fun. I wish they were cheaper as 6 grandchildren gets expensive.
These boxes are so neat! They have such fun recipes and activities. I love the spring theme of the April box. I would enjoy making these with my grandchildren.
