Here’s a subscription box that brings yummy goodies for you to put together. Want to find out more about it? Check out our unboxing of the March Gramma in a Box.
Unboxing The March Gramma In A Box
My boys and I love subscription boxes. We also love doing things together. That’s why Gramma In A Box was a perfect thing for us. This box combines the best of both things. This monthly subscription box includes baked cookies with decorating supplies as well as two candy crafts with step-by-step instructions.
I believe that what makes this box unique is that it was created by an actual Gramma. She has designed it to give you and your loved ones a fun activity that you can complete together without all of the work.
I liked how it comes all wrapped up and with a Gramma in a Box sticker.
The first thing I saw were the main card that describe the candy and cookie projects for this month. On the back it lists the contents of the box as well as a list of items that you would need from home. Don’t worry though because they are all staples found in any home. This month’s theme is St. Patrick’s Day Treats.
There are also individual for each of the projects, which includes the recipe, instructions, and ingredients.
These are all the items that were in our box, let’s go through them one by one.
We have green melting chocolate, and crispy rice cereal.
Small gold colored paper cups.
8 Baked cookies in different shapes and sizes.
18 Mini pretzels and 6 popsicle sticks.
Frosting in green, yellow, and white.
4 Assorted sprinkles and toppings.
And 2 sheets of wax paper.
We absolutely loved how easy to follow the instructions were. They made doing all the projects easy and super fun! I was hoping to get pictures of the finished projects but my boys ate as they went along. 🙂
Gramma in a box is perfect for anyone not just kids. This is one subscription box that was as delicious as it was fun. The cost of the box is $20.00 per month + free shipping. But I would recommend the longer subscriptions, since you can save more that way. For example: If you subscribe with the auto debit program for only $20 per month, the first box is only $10.
Terry Chamberlin the grandma behind Gramma in a Box has a special offer for you! Use code: 10off (lower case) for an additional $10 off the 3, 6, or 12 month prepaid program here.
Boxes generally ship the first week of each month. Any orders received by the 3rd of any month will automatically receive that month’s box. The items are perishable so we recommend you do your cookie and candy projects within 5 days of receipt.
This is the first box that actually got my attention & interest. I live almost 20 miles round trip from any type store & much further to a any big box, so when kids come in unexpected, happens quite a bit, having something to do if weather is bad is helpful. Have to check them out.
This is such a fun kit! I would definitely love to receive a kit with everything we need to make themed treats with my kids! Thank you so much for sharing. 🙂
This is such a fun box! It would be a great way to try a new activity with my grandchildren.
This is such a cute and clever idea. I like how they give you exactly what you need. Sometimes I will buy ingredients for a recipe and have so much left over. I love that they had a special treat for St. Patrick’s Day. My daughters would really like this.
This looks Great and I would love to give it to anyone not just a grandma. I would love to see what all they put in there
As a gramma, I have never seen this. The grandchildren may like it, but never a replacement.
This box is not in anyway to serve as a replacement. But as a way to unite over the distance. For example Terry the grandma who created this box uses it over Skype to connect with her grandchildren. I feel that this is an amazing way to connect and feel more together no matter the distance!
These subscription boxes seem to be quite popular.
I have never heard of this box. It looks nice, this would be perfect for a lot of people
