My boys love spending time outdoors, and riding on scooters is a favorite of theirs. When my son saw the Flybar Aero Scooter he was thrilled! He couldn’t wait to take it out and take it for a spin. Did you know that scooters are a top system of transport for kids? Many kids like my oldest have an issue with their ankles and simply can not pedal a bike. So scooters offer a fun mode of transportation in lieu of a bike. Kick scooters are a great choice! With so many brands offering many types how can you choose a suitable one for your little one to have fun? We have tried several different brands and the Flybar Aero Scooter is the sturdiest one we have tried.

Many parents think that a folding scooter is best, I myself used to think this way. Yes the folding aspect gives you the flexibility to easily place it in a backpack and take it anywhere. However looking back at all the times my boys used their scooters, they never folded them to take them anywhere. Plus the folding joint didn’t make the scooter as sturdy as I would have liked for my boys. As soon as you begin to ride the Flybar Aero scooter, you will notice just how sturdy and durable it is. Which is great because it can help kids develop a great sense of balance and tight control.

Here are a few of the features that we love from this scooter. For starters I love the size of the deck where your child can place one foot as he or she kicks off with the other. Plus it has grip tape on it for added stability. The handle bar t-shape allows my boys to steer with precision and ride with both feet on the deck on gentle downhill slopes.

I also liked that the handlebar is adjustable, making it easy to switch and allowing all my boys to ride it. The lowest height is 27.5 inches and the highest is 32 inches. The Flybar Aero scooter can stand up to 175 lbs making it very long lasting. The lock that stabilizes the handlebar height is nice and tight yet easy enough for my boys to do it on their own. We also like the rear break is easy to step on allow the rider to stop quickly when needed.

I have mentioned a few of the things that I liked, now let me tell you the one thing that all of my boys especially love. The light up wheels are great fun, and they are extremely durable.

Bottom Line: Everything about the scooter fits the aims wanted for children’s scooters, making it an ideal Christmas gift: Safe, Durable and Fun!
