As a crafter I am always straining my vision. I had heard that a magnifier lamp would help tremendously. So I tested out the Brightech LightView Rolling Base Magnifier Lamp. Keep reading to see what I think of it.

I love to crochet and needlepoint, however even with my glasses on I find that I still strain my vision. I talked about this with my ophthalmologist, her suggestions were either getting reading glasses, or a magnifier lamp. I refused the reading glasses. Maybe when I’m older (much much older) I will go that route, but I just can’t see myself using them right now. I immediately started looking into magnifier lamps. I was a bit overwhelmed at the many different lamps available and glad to see that the prices also varied in ranges. It was a sure sign when I received an email from Brightech asking if I would be interested in receiving one of their lamps.
Looking at all the great lamps they offer I initially was interested in the LightView Flex LED. This is a desk/table lamp that you can use with either a clamp or a base. It seemed like a great lamp, but then I realized that I am not always at my desk when I’m working on my crochet. So I took another look at their lamps and decided to go with the LightView Rolling Base magnifier lamp. This lamp offered many things that I needed, for example: an arm joint for using at various heights, a large magnifying lens,
easy access to the power switch, dimming lights, and a lens cover.
It also gave me the added flexibility to use it wherever I happen to be, thanks to the rolling base.
Another great thing about this lamp is the Dimmable, Color Adjusting LEDs.
It came very well packaged in a sturdy box. But what I really liked was how easy it was to assemble. I had it out of the box and ready to use within 10 minutes.
As you can see there are many great features that this magnifier lamp offers. I have found myself using it not just when working on my crochet and needlepoint. It has come in handy when scrap-booking, coloring in my adult coloring books, and my jewelry making.

What a cool looking lamp, I love that it has wheels! I also really like that it has adjustable LED lights. That way you can have it just the right brightness/temp for whatever your needs may be. Thank you so much for sharing!
This would be a wonderful gift for an older person. I can see them using it for coloring, knitting and reading.

First, I like how easily it was put together. I also like that it could be moved around so easily.
