I have been wanting to see if going vegan would work for me. Why not give it a try for 30 days and see? That’s why I gave Vegan Challenge: The 30-Day Program a try. Here are my thoughts on the book.
Vegan Challenge: The 30-Day Program Book Review
Lately I have been having issues with my stomach digesting meat, so I decided that giving the vegan life may be good. I know of many VSG surgery patients who after surgery go this route because it not just healthy but better for their sleeves too. Not sure what I’m talking about, check out my post here. Before committing to a vegan diet I wanted to be sure that it was something I could do. That’s why I decided I wanted to give it a try for a few weeks. It was definitely perfect timing when I was asked if I would like to receive a copy of Vegan Challenge: The 30-Day Program. This was definitely a sign that I should go ahead and try out this way of eating.
This book has lots of great chapters, it starts off with what to expect from your challenge. Then there’s a chapter on transitioning to a vegan diet. This chapter was definitely the most useful for me. The chapter on the challenge itself has each day broken up into 4 parts: recipes, daily fact, daily affirmation, and challenger notes/log entries. You can then find all the recipes you will need for your challenge, I really liked how easy to follow and make the recipes are.
This book is easy to understand, and very well put together. I really like it and it’s a guide that I know I will continue to use.
