My hubby is big into grilling, he grills year round even in the snow. The grill he has is several years old, so this year for his birthday we wanted to get him a new one. That’s why we were excited to give the IG Charcoal BBQ a try! Keep reading to find out how we liked it.

When it comes to grilling my hubby has done it all from burgers, BBQ, hot dogs, sausages, veggies, seafood, to whole chickens. He loves it and will do it in any weather, Not even snow stops him. That’s why we were excited that we were going to try out the IG Charcoal BBQ. When it arrived my hubby was ecstatic as he immediately knew the box was for him and what was inside. After all he is the grill master of this house.

He didn’t even let the box get inside, he immediately opened the box and set it up.

I stayed with him because I wanted to know how long it would take to put it together. Although I thought it would be hard, I was surprised that after only 30 minutes he was lighting up the charcoal.

It was so easy to set up, and I loved how gorgeous it was! The IG Charcoal BBQ is a great size to grill up meals for our family of 6, or any gathering! My hubby like most grilling enthusiasts enjoys preparing food outdoors and sharing it with friends and family members. So as you can imagine we have a lot of gatherings, this grill will definitely get used.

My hubby loves using a charcoal-based grill because of the distinct flavor it gives to foods. Besides the amazing taste, this grill provides a higher temperature compared to other grills we’ve had. This means that it’s able to seal in the juices, keeping the meat tender and juicy. Although this grill produces high temperatures, it still cooks foods nice and slow. Slow and continuous exposure to heat not only liquefies fats (allowing you to enjoy healthier foods), but also cooks foods properly, while keeping intact important nutrients, such as minerals, vitamins and proteins.

The IG Charcoal BBQ is perfect for grilling foods indirectly, it’s size gives you plenty of space to build the fire on one side and cook the food on the other side. It’s also just as good to cook foods directly above the heat source. Another great thing about this grill is how easy it is to cleanup. All we had to do was pull out the ash collector tray, dump it and it was ready for us to grill again. I also really like how the side trays made it convenient for us to put all of the grilling utensils on it. For once we didn’t need to place a table next to the grill!
