I don’t know how it is at your home, but in mine the boys go thru pencils like crazy! That’s why I decided to get an electric pencil sharpener. After looking at several ones, I came across this one from VicTagen.
There are many reason I liked it and couldn’t wait to test it out. This pencil sharpener came with it’s USB power cable, a plug, and the manual. I liked the size of it, however I was thrown a bit. I was expecting it to be smaller, not sure why I thought this but I did. Anyway it is a good size, and can be easily taken anywhere. It has a sturdy and well made look and feel to it. I also really like the slide switch feature, which allows you to choose from 3 different sharpness settings: blunt, medium, and sharp.
It has four little rubber tips on the bottom, so it doesn’t slide around while you’re using it. The VicTagen electric pencil sharpener also has an automatic stop function. Whenever you remove the shaving plate, it will automatically stop.
It has a steel blade which sharpens pencils quickly and perfectly! We have also used it to sharpen colored pencils and it does a great job on them too. I have to tell you though that the best feature that I like about this sharpener is the different ways you can power it. You can use the power cord via USB, plug it into the wall, or run it with four AA batteries.

Sounds like a great pencil sharpener. I know my grandchildren could really use one. I have had my battery operated pencil sharpener for over 25 years and it’s still going.

i feel so old right now but am honestly wondering.. i know that cursive writing has fallen out of favor are pencils used other than art classes these days?
My boys still use pencils in school. Actually more than I did growing up. I remember being allowed to write in pen in every class except math. Now my boys who are in middle school can only use pencils.
