As a mom and blogger I take tons of photos. The problem with this is that I have to constantly transfer photos out of my phone so I don’t run out of space. With all the transferring I do there are the times I’ve wanted to show a picture and it’s on my home computer. I use online storage for my blog photos. Mainly because it’s convenient and easy. However, I don’t keep my personal photos on an online storage. Once you upload your photos to an online storage people can see and use my photos for whatever they want. This is scary since most smartphones attach your location to photos making it easy for people to know exactly where your photos were taken. So when I heard about Kwilt Shoebox Plus I couldn’t wait to find out more about this personal cloud.
The Kwilt Shoebox Plus is a device that creates a private, personal cloud where consumers can offload photos and videos from their smartphones and still access their content anytime, anywhere.

The Kwilt Shoebox Plus came with everything I needed to get started right away. The package included: the Kwilt Shoebox Plus, Power Supply, 3′ Ethernet cable, a 64 GB USB memory stick, and a USB 3.0 MicroSDXC Reader.
The Kwilt Shoebox Plus itself has connections for a power cable, an Ethernet port, 4 USB ports, and an HDMI output plug for displaying content on a TV to monitor.
To get started I linked the Kwilt to my home router, downloaded the app and backed up the photos from my smartphone. Easily all of the my photos showed up in the Kwilt app, I’m still working on transferring my videos. Now that my photos are safely stored on the USB drive, I can delete some from my phone, freeing space to shoot more. I really like how easily I can access the photos anytime anywhere from my phone using the Kwilt app. This makes a great gift for you or anyone you love, plus it’s perfect to gift on any occasion!

I love that this is more than storage. It’s great to be able to plug it into your tv to see all your pics and video.
This is definitely something that I could use! I have three littles and my cellphone camera is the only one I have. So I am pretty much always running out of space on my phone from all of the pictures I take.
