Now that I’ve said that let me tell you why I take a Vitamin B Complex supplement. Many of you know that I had vertical sleeve gastrectomy surgery at the beginning of the year. For those of you that may not know what that surgery entails, basically I had 80% of my stomach removed. Because of this I will have to take supplements for the rest of my life. The fact is, it’s hard enough to get everything you need with a normal digestive system. Post-op, it’s even more difficult. If you’ve had a gastric sleeve, you literally don’t have the capacity in your surgically altered stomach to take in enough food to get adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals.
