Since I don’t have a dishwasher I have to wash everything by hand. I have cut myself with a knife while washing dishes so many times I’ve lost count. This is why lately if I use a knife I immediately wash, dry and put it away. But honestly that can add more time to my meal prepping. Recently I heard about a new kitchen item that will help me with this. This new product is called Sink Safe. Sink Safe is a multi-purpose knife caddy.
This has been such a great time saver, and it let’s me meal prep and dish wash safely. Sink Safe was designed to keep knives and sharp objects secure in one place. This caddy measures 14″ in width and stands 6.25″ tall. It is designed with holes that allow soapy water to seep into it so you can easily soak your knives or other sharp items safely while washing dishes. I place my knifes and peelers in it too! I also use it to store my wet knives once I’m done washing them to allow them to air dry. Thanks to those little holes air can circulate easily.
Sink Safe is made to fit in most standard size sinks. I feel that the Sink Safe multi-purpose knife caddy is a nice safety addition to any kitchen.
While prepping I place my caddy on the counter so I can place my knife in it. Then I simply transfer my Sink Safe caddy to the sink. This makes transferring the knives safe too.

I like this ideal, I always wash my dishes etc my hand. And this would make them a lot safer.
This is awesome! I am always trying to be careful about where my dirty knives are in the sink as it is too easy to accidently cut yourself on one. This would be so handy to have, thanks for sharing!
