Cleaning Hacks & Febreze Air Purifiers

When it comes to keeping a fresh smelling home Febreze is my go to brand. I like that they have so many products that I can use in different parts of my home. In my home I’m the only female, so as you can imagine cleaning is a daily thing. It’s a good thing that I enjoy doing it. Below I’ll be telling you about a few cleaning hacks that I use around my home. But first I want to tell you about the latest addition to my home, the Febreze table top air purifier.

I was lucky enough to receive a Febreze table top air purifier. The main thing I like about it is the size. It’s perfect for the top of my dresser in the bedroom! It came in a study box and was super easy to set up.

All I had to do was remove the filter from the unit so I could take the wrapping off. Then just place the filter back into the purifier. The into also came with 1 Linen & Sky™ scent cartridge. The purifier has a slot for the cartridge in the top and it’s really easy to install.

Then I just had to plug it in and turn it on. The Febreze table top air purifier had 3 air cleaning levels and a knob to choose how much scent you want released.

You can also run the unit without a scent cartridge and it will still work perfectly. The unit also has a scent check LED Light that will turn on after 30 days of use. At this time you can replace the scent cartridge and reset the scent monitor. You can also feel free to replace the scent cartridge sooner if you’d like.

The table top unit is recommended for small rooms (85 sq. ft).

The Mini Tower recommended for small to medium rooms.

Are you ready for some of the cleaning hacks I use?

Clean your dish sponge.

Sponges can pick up a lot of bacteria, especially if they’re left in the sink. So you want to make sure you clean it frequently. It’s super easy: all I do is pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds to remove any bacteria! You are going to want to wait a minute or two before taking it out since it’ll still be hot. Another great way to clean your sponge is to place it in the dishwasher to get it nice and clean again.

Do you have a stinky garbage disposal?

It’s easy to add a fresh scent to the kitchen by cutting up a lemon and running a couple of small slices through the garbage disposal. Always do this great trick just before guests arrive for an added kick of freshness.

Get your stainless steel appliances spotless.

Stainless steel appliances seem to be stained with fingerprints constantly. Especially in my home. It’s easy to give them a good, clean shine. All you need is a microfiber cloth and some rubbing alcohol! If you really want to get your stainless steel super clean, just use a few drops of olive oil! I do this once a month. All you do is add a few drops of olive oil to a soft cloth and clean. Then just buff it out with a clean soft cloth.

Remove grease stains

To clean grease stains from carpet, just mix four parts rubbing alcohol with one part salt, and then rub the mixture into the stain. Let the surface dry and vacuum up any remaining salt if necessary.

Scuff Mark Eraser

Clean off shoe scuff marks from vinyl flooring with a clean, dry tennis ball. A light rub and heel marks are erased.
