I recently had the chance to try three great new products from Softsoap. These new products are from Softsoaps’ new Earth Blends Line. I received a body wash, a hand soap, and 2 soap bars. First lets talk a little about this NEW Earth Blends Line. This line is a paraben-free and dye-free moisturizing line made from biodegradable cleaning ingredients. With body washes and hand soaps formulated with only 10 ingredients, this Walmart exclusive allows for an effective and trustworthy clean, every time.
The body wash, hand soap, and soap bars come in both Pink Grapefruit & Cucumber, Coconut & Fig. The body wash and hand soap is also available in Pomegranate & Plum.
For the body wash I received the Coconut & Fig scent. You guys know how much I love to try out new things, especially when those new things are skin care products. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it before but I am a huge fan of tropical scented products and moisturizing soap, so I was really looking forward to trying this new body wash. The smell of this body wash is an amazingly clean smell. I must admit that I thought it would have a strong coconut scent but it didn’t. Even though it wasn’t the scent I was expecting, while using it I closed my eyes and it immediately relaxed me. Isn’t it amazing what a scent can do!
I like body washes that when I apply a little of, I get a whole lot of lather and that is exactly what I got when I tried this. You could use this on a pouf, like I do or it would also work out really well on a wash cloth. After using it I found that my skin was soft and smooth, I absolutely love this product and I will definitely be purchasing it in the future. This is definitely a family body wash, the boys have been using it as well and love it!
The next product I tried was the Pomegranate & Plum hand wash. This had a fruity and crisp scent to it. The thing I really liked however was how well it lathered. I also really liked how it left my hands soft and clean! This hand soap gave me the feeling of pampering that as a mom I so desperately need. Since I wash my hands so much it’s nice to have a product that not only moisturizes, but that it also pampers. 😉
The soap bars were also in the Coconut & Fig scent. I love that it’s a moisturizing triple milled bar soap. It has the same refreshing scent as the body wash and lathers just as well. I love using it with a washcloth. I gave the second bar to my mom because soap bars are all she uses. She was hooked on this bar from her first shower! She liked it so much that she already bought two more packs. She says she doesn’t want to be caught without it.

I really like that these are paraben-free and dye-free. I try to stay away from chemicals as much as possible.
I don’t think I have ever heard of a fig scent, before – or maybe I’m just not “with it”… but that sounds really awesome. I like how you mentioned that you felt not only clean, but “pampered” after using the hand soap. I think that’s very important. Nice review.

I’ve been reading terrible things about parabens and now always look at labels to be sure it isn’t there and believe it or not, it’s almost always there. So I’m glad to see this is paraben free. I’m still missing the vanilla/brown sugar scent that softsoap had, but the coconut /fig sounds interesting.
The body wash sounds great! I love anything coconut scented. I can’t wait to try it.
