Photowall Canvas Prints And Wall Murals
Many of you now know about my canvas prints obsession. I love having pictures of my babies and amazing family memories on canvas. I love to hang them all throughout my home so I can see them anytime. Recently I was introduced to a Swedish company called Photowall. I really like that Photowall focuses on design and quality. They offer a wide range of wall murals and canvas prints. As well as being environmentally friendly and fire-retardant, their products do not fade in sunlight. This was the main thing that interested me, and I couldn’t wait to give them a try.
I went on their website and was surprised at how easy it is to navigate and get to ordering your very own product. When I ordered my canvas print I specified the size of the canvas I wanted. One of the things I really liked from the website is that, if you’re unsure of anything you can request additional assistance. I knew I wanted a wrap around effect on our canvas, and I liked that the design showed us which parts of the photo would be on the sides of the frame. Once I was happy with the way everything looked I was all set to order the frame.
Our canvas arrived in a long box, once I opened it I saw one of the reasons how this canvas is different from others. You get to assemble the canvas frame for the print yourself. This was the first time we would be doing this ourselves and I must admit I was a bit afraid it was going to be difficult. Inside the box we found the four sides of the frame, the canvas, instructions, and the hardware needed to put everything together.
To get started we needed to place the canvas on a flat, clean surface so because of it’s size we decided the bed was a great place. We placed the canvas face down and arranged the sides how they would go. Then we removed the backing from the adhesive, and pressed the canvas to the frame sides.
Once the canvas is adhered to the frame we then folded the frame inward to tighten the canvas and placed the corner supports.
It was so easy to assemble that my 11 year old did most of it, daddy also helped of course.
This is how the finished canvas looked. The quality of the canvas is fantastic, and the fitting is a lot stronger than our other canvases. I absolutely loved how our canvas turned out! Besides creating your own canvas, there is so much more that Photowall offers. I can’t wait to place my next order!
