Pilates for Dancers DVD is a great low intensity workout!
I had never done Pilates before. to be completely honest I’m not flexible at all so I never thought I could do Pilates. I have always wanted to try, but have been too embarrased to go take a class. So I thought this promotion was perfect to give me a chance to try it out at home. This Pilates for Dancers DVD is geared towards beginners so the first few moves were slow, but that gave me a chance to really get it right. It also helps out that they show you each move from different angles. I love how the warm-up is streatching and deep breathing. As this totally relaxes me and gets me prepared to do the exercises. I really like how it gives me that abdominal workout we all look for when working out.
Now when I say low intensity that doesn’t mean it doesn’t give you a good workout. My abs were killing me, but in a good way. I love that there are 24 different exercises on this DVD, and they all target different areas. I like the way all the movements are taught. This is a great DVD for redefining muscles and toning. It’s easy to understand and it guides you step by step. This is a great DVD for any age range, my 3 year old does some of the moves with me. I especially like that as the week has gone by (I’ve done it daily) I am getting better and better at doing it right. I’m really happy I decided to try out Pilates! This would make an awesome stocking stuffer!
