4 Must-Use Online Booking Sites for Errands, Meals and Reservations

4 online platforms

Here are 4 of my go-to online booking platforms.

Instead of calling a travel agent or visiting a car rental center, new online platforms have made finding, booking and paying for services such as, hotel reservations, car rentals, flights and even groceries possible online. These convenient websites and apps make peoples’ lives easier by allowing them to get the exact product or services they need in an efficient way. They also can save consumers time and even money.

From flawlessly booking weekend getaways to getting your groceries delivered, here are 4 of my must-use online booking platforms that make my life a little bit easier:

1.       Dinner Reservations: Savored, a Groupon company, is a free website and mobile app that enables customers to make reservations and save up to 40% at great restaurants. The site is currently live in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington D.C and coming to more cities soon. Another unique dinner experience is Meal Sharing, a convenient way to have a home-cooked meal. People can look up hosts in more than 450 cities worldwide, and attend a home cooked meal.

2.       Traveling: Hotel Tonight is the fastest way to book a last minute hotel room. Hand-picked selections at a range of prices are sent to a smart phone, and in 10 seconds a room can be chosen.  Get Your Guide is also a great way for vacation-goers to get the most out of their trip. It has an extensive list of tours with 25,000 activities to book in over 2,400 destinations worldwide.

3.       Groceries: Peapod is a great online service for getting all food groceries delivered right to your door. They are available in 15 cities across the U.S. where customers can choose from their favorite brand name foods and pay via phones or computer.

4.       Errands: Postmate is another delivery service via bike or car for miscellaneous items such as groceries, lunch or an office supply run. With delivery fees starting at only $5, Postmate promises delivery in under an hour and provides real-time tracking at ETAs.

I have not been compensated in any way to mention these services, these are services that I use and wanted to share with you.
