Now you can make soup with your single serve brewer!
I love soup, especially in the fall and winter. When I heard about these new Progresso Bistro Cups I was super intrigued. I mean how could it be possible to make soup using a single serve brewer! I couldn’t wait to try them out. I received three great flavors, they are Creamy Tomato & Parmesan, Southwestern-Style Creamy White Bean & Corn and Broccoli & Cheese.
I am going to start by telling you about the Broccoli & Cheese Bistro Cup.
The reason I’m starting with this one is because broccoli & cheese soup is my ultimate favorite soup. Now thanks to the Progresso Bistro Cups I can have this soup anytime. I couldn’t believe it is so easy to prepare these great bistro cups.
First you pour the content of the envelope into the mug you will be using. Then place the bistro cup into your single serve brewer, place the setting to 8 ounces and let it brew. Once it’s done brewing just stir everything together, let sit for a minute and enjoy!
Just look at how thick & creamy it comes out! Wondering if I liked it…just look at the picture of the empty cup. It was absolutely delicious!! I gotta say the Broccoli & Cheese Progresso Bistro Cups are definitely my favorite!
The next one I tried was the Creamy Tomato & Parmesan.
This is a tomato soup unlike any other. I was already a fan on tomato soup but the creamy and smooth flavor of this soup really won me over. It pairs perfectly with a grilled cheese sandwich like all great tomato soups should.
The third one I got to try is the Southwestern-Style Creamy White Bean & Corn.
I had never tried a white-bean & corn soup before so I don’t have any to compare it to. However I can tell you that it is creamy and absolutely delicious! I loved this one and my hunny who is a huge Tex-Mex food fan claimed this as his absolute favorite!
I am thrilled with all three varieties of these bistro cups from Progresso. Each bistro cup and soup mix pouch is cream-based, with 170-250 calories, 6-10g fat, 600-850 mg sodium, 22-38g carbs, <1-12g fiber, 3-9g sugars, and 3-11g protein.
