We love eating Wonderful Halos, but we especially love using them to make adorable crafts. I have shared many of those crafts with you on my blog. And this year I am sharing with you these adorable valentines with Wonderful Halos. I hope that you like them and have as much fun making them as we did!
Valentines with Wonderful Halos
Celebrate this Valentine’s Day with your loved ones and with Wonderful Halos mandarins. I will be sharing three adorable, easy, and delicious valentines. I want to start off by thanking Wonderful Halos for sending us this Valentine’s Day gift set.
It had everything we needed for these crafts and so much more!
Let’s start with the fun.
Cupid’s Bow
By Jodi Levine (@supermakeit)
Supplies
1 wonderful halos mandarin
1 can of vanilla frosting
Serrated knife
Cutting board
Toothpicks
Heart sprinkles
Instructions
1. Peel a Halos mandarin and separate it into segments. Place two segments onto a cutting board facing in opposite directions to create a ‘V’.
2. Use the knife to cut a small piece on each end of the segment, at an angle of about 1/3”. Slide the two halves together to make a heart shape.
3. Push a toothpick through the two halves, diagonally, until it is sticking out a bit on both ends.
4. Repeat the steps above 3x.
5. Use a new toothpick to apply a little frosting to each end of the toothpicks inserted into the heart-shaped mandarin segments to act as glue. Place a heart sprinkle on top of each end, with the point facing towards the left.
*Make sure to remove the toothpick before serving it to children.
