For my boys this year was a little hard as they had to give up playdates and sleepovers. We also weren’t able to make our trip to Virginia to see family, and our yearly vacation, as well as our long weekend trips, had to be postponed. I am lucky that my boys are 9-16 so they are able to understand the why of everything.
However, if they would have been younger, this book from Fern Schumer Chapman would have been absolutely perfect. This book is written warmly and in a way that kids understand. This is a perfect book to share with kids this holiday season.

This sounds like such a good book, perfect for these crazy lockdowns we have been having. My kids miss their grandpa so bad, they cry a lot about it. I feel really bad but also understand the precautions. I will have to get this for them, thank you so much for sharing!
