GIANTmicrobes Humorous & Educational Toys
I love plush toys, plus being in the medical field I love cells. My boys also share the love of plush toys. Recently I received an email asking me if I’d like to review GIANTmicrobes. I immediately checked out their website, and I absolutely had to say yes! GIANTmicrobes are plush, personified renditions of microscopic critters. Plus these plush toys are so cute, so I knew my youngest would love them.
I received three of their adorable plush toys. a Common Cold (Rhinovirus), a Molar Tooth, and a Brain Cell. Let me show you them a little closer and tell you what I think.
Common Cold (Rhinovirus)
This has got to be the cutest cold I have ever seen. It’s about the size of a tennis ball and super soft. It is a bright Indigo Blue color and has two little beady black eyes. It truly is super cute! One thing I like about all of the GIANTmicrobes plush toys I received is that they all had a tag with their name on them.
All of them also had a card on them that shares the name, a picture of the real thing, and facts about it.
This little plush was perfect when my youngest caught a cold last week. He loved cuddling up with it and I was able to explain to him more about a cold.
Tooth (Molar)
Here is the little molar we received. It’s adorable with the perfect molar shape and it’s little eyes and eyebrows. I also really like that this plush has a zippered little bag on it’s back side.
This little bag is perfect for storing a fallen tooth. My boys now place this little tooth plush under the pillow for the toothfairy.
Brain Cell (Neuron)
This one I am actually making a Christmas present. My oldest is a real smarty pants and he knows it. Not in a conceited way, but in a proud let me show my mama my grades way. He always has his teachers telling him how smart he is. So I figured it would be a fun and cute plush for him.
And just like the other two plush toys, it comes with it’s tag and informational card.
GIANTmicrobes make a super fun gift, great for the holidays! If you have science lovers, teachers, health professionals, or anyone else with a sense of humor then these are great gifts. Aside from offering individual plush toys they also have holiday gift boxes.
