Red, White & Boozy Cocktails for the 4th of July
Besides watching the fireworks show, having a nice cocktail is a must in our home. I have shared many cocktail recipes with you thanks to Sparkling Ice. I love to make some of these cocktails into mocktails, that way even the kiddos can enjoy. Sparkling Ice has given me permission to share these delicious Red, White and Boozy Cocktails perfect for the 4th of July.
Independence Day is just around the corner! Celebrate the 4th of July with these fizzy, fruity cocktails made with zero-calorie Sparkling Ice and world-renowned Italian winery Santa Margherita.
Blackberry Lemon Smash
Ingredients
1.5 oz of white rum
1.5 oz of vodka
Blackberries
8 oz Sparkling Ice Lemon Lime
Directions
Add blackberries and vodka to shaker. Muddle. Add rum and ice. Shake and strain into a chilled pint glass over ice. Fill with Sparkling Ice Lemon Lime.
Spiked Strawberry Slushie
Ingredients
3 cups strawberries
¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 sprig of fresh mint
Ice cubes
1 tablespoon sugar
Bottle Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore DOCG
Directions
Stir lemon juice and ½ bottle of Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore DOCG together, set aside. Combine ice cubes, mint, sugar and strawberries in blender, blend on high until smooth. Pour in lemon and Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore DOCG mixture and blend on medium until smooth. Distribute mixture and top each glass with remaining Prosecco. Garnish with strawberry.

Ingredients
1.5 oz White rum
1 oz Blue curacao
3 oz Sparkling Ice Classic Lemonade
Fresh berries (for garnish)
Ice
Directions
Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until it becomes slushy.
Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with a fresh berries.
Cucumber Lime & Basil Prosecco Spritzer
Ingredients
1 lime juiced
4 basil leaves
4 cucumber slices
Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore DOCG
Directions
Muddle lime juice, basil and cucumber in a shaker glass. (For extra flavor infusion allow mixture to marinate in the fridge for at least one hour). Add ice and shake mixture. Strain the juice only (about ½ oz.) into a Prosecco glass. Top with Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore DOCG and garnish with a basil leaf and cucumber slice.
Sparkling Watermelon Vodka Lemonade
Ingredients
3 cups seedless watermelon pieces
3 lemons, juiced
½ cup vodka
¼ cup fresh mint
2 cups Sparkling Ice Classic Lemonade
Directions
In a blender, puree the watermelon and lemon juice, strain through a sieve into a drink pitcher. Add mint, vodka, and Sparkling Ice Classic Lemonade – then stir. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint.
Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade
Ingredients
Bottle Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore DOCG
1/8 Cup Sugar
1/8 Cup Lemon Sugar
1/2 Tablespoon Lemon Rind, Grated
1 Cup Mashed Raspberries
Directions
Combine sugar and juice in a small saucepan, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon rind and ½ cup of mashed raspberries. Combine mixture and Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore DOCG in pitcher. Sprinkle remaining lemon rind raspberries among the glasses.
