Napkins, Tissues, and Toilet Paper From Bamboo. That’s Exactly What Caboo Offers!
Recently we were asked to try out Caboo paper products. Honestly I wanted to see how it compared to the paper products we already used. So I gladly accepted and couldn’t wait for it to arrive. When they did I put them out right away for all of us to use.
The first thing we tested was the Caboo toilet paper.
So off to the bathroom I went. After all this is where I wanted to test it out the most. For the bathroom we received a package of 12 double rolls of toilet paper. Caboo toilet paper is 100% biodegradable, luxuriously soft, strong & absorbent. Each rolls brings 300 sheets. Compared to our usual famous brand of ultra soft 2-ply toilet paper Caboo was just as soft. It was also just as absorbent and we liked it a lot. We would definitely continue to use this toilet paper.
We also received a box of Caboo Facial Tissues.
I loved absolutely everything about them! They are soft and a great size. The boys are the ones that mostly use tissues in the house. So they were the real criticts. They really liked it too. Aaron who’s nine said “I like blowing my nose and not getting boogies on my hands”. So with that we were convinced that Caboo facial tissues would definitely work in our home.
We got to try Caboo napkins too!
These Caboo napkins are 1-ply, folded and bring 250 sheets per package. Like the other two products I mentioned above, they are 100% biodegradable and made from 100% bamboo & sugarcane. What concerned us was how they felt and worked. Let me say that the night we received them was spaghetti night in our home. If you have kids then you know that spaghetti can be very messy. Well these napkins worked amazingly.
If you were to come into our home, the first thing you would notice on our table is a roll of paper towels. Yup that’s how messy my boys are!!! We don’t usually have napkins in our home, just paper towels. Thanks these napkins from Caboo worked so well that I would definitely switch. Honestly the only reason I don’t is that currently these napkins are available only in Canada.
So the real question here is, would we make the switch on any of these products? Absolutely!! These products worked just as well or better than what we were using. So of course we would switch. I also like that bamboo and sugarcane are grasses, not hardwoods. They are extremely fast-growing (just three months), and don’t require replanting. Bamboo doesn’t require fertilizers, insecticides or pesticides.
Sugarcane is much like bamboo, but with an added environmental bonus. The “bagasse” – the dry fibrous residue that remains after the extraction of juice from the crushed stalks – is what we use to make our paper. Normally this bagasse is either disposed or burned, meaning we are re-purposing what would otherwise be discarded. (scr: Caboo website)
They also carry paper towels and baby wipes! I would love to try those out too.
