Following the successful launch of the Owlegories series last fall, Owlegories Vol. 2 – The Ant, The Fruit , The Butterfly brings to life lessons based on Scripture about hard work (Prov. 6:6), the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23) and true freedom (2 Corinthians 5:17). Volume 2 also includes a special message after each episode from Author/Speaker Trillia Newbell (The Ant), Author/Blogger Angie Smith (The Fruit) and Dallas-based Gateway Church Senior Pastor Robert Morris (The Butterfly), and introduces for the first time – the brand new Owlegories song, “God Made Lots of Things.”  This original song was written by Owlegories Co-writer/Co-director Keith Alcorn (Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, The Ant Bully) with music by award-winning Film Composer/Producer Mark Menza (Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Dragon Ball GT, Beet and Wishbone).

“We are so excited to present this next volume in the Owlegories series,” says Co-creator Thomas Boto.  “Creating Owlegories has given us the incredible opportunity to share God’s love and His Word with children and families in a very fun and meaningful way. It has been a great privilege and blessing to work on a project that involves my whole family, and we look forward to the continued journey of creating faith-based stories that can make a lasting difference in the lives of families for years to come.”

About Owlegories:

Owlegories is a new animated series and interactive digital app that teaches kids about God through the amazing things found in nature and revealed in God’s Word. Thomas Boto and his wife Julie, with the help of their four young boys, are the creators of Owlegories and the original interactive storybook app on which the animated series is based. “You can tell a lot about an artist by what he creates” is the premise behind Owlegories. Taking inspiration from the series banner verse, Psalm 19:1-4, Owlegories addresses the important theme of creation and explores the nature of God as the Creator of the Universe through the use of allegories, metaphors and analogies. The animated series, which follows a group of student owls as they travel on adventures learning about nature, faith and God, was brought to life with the help of Producer Chad Gundersen and Co-writer/Co-director Keith Alcorn, co-creator/ producer of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and executive producer of The Ant Bully.
