We live in an older house with a mildew problem in both the bathroom and the basement. The bathroom fan is not efficient in removing moisture, so you can imagine how the mildew problem is. We bought two of these units, one for the bathroom and one for our small basement. We are very pleased with the small size, low cost and efficient operation of his dehumidifier. In the bathroom we remove about one inch of water from the reservoir daily! In the basement it’s between 2-3 inches. I like that if the reservoir fills, the unit automatically shuts off. I do not hesitate to recommend this dehumidifier for bathrooms, small business offices, bedrooms, hobby spaces and small basements.
