Guest Post – Avoid Christmas Crowds and Shop Online – Written by: Michele Gill
Christmas is a fun and exciting time of year, but for many it is filled with the stress of the financial burden it can cause. Online shopping is one way to stretch the budget as far as it can go.
Black Friday shopping is known as the thing to do the day after Thanksgiving. Want to get the great prices but don’t want to fight through the crowds at 5 a.m.? Many retailers offer their Black Friday prices and door busters on their websites during the same hours those prices are available in the stores. Often times they even offer free shipping.
As a way to compete with brick and mortar stores and Black Friday, Cyber Monday is held the Monday after Thanksgiving. Participating online retailers often have hourly deals or specials available during certain times. You will see rock bottom prices on Cyber Monday, and just like on Black Friday you have to be quick. Items can sell out very quickly.
As Christmas approaches, be aware of shipping times and when you need to place an order to get your item before Christmas. A great deal found online is no longer a great deal if you have to pay for overnight shipping to get it on time.
With so many retailers literally right at your fingertips, there is no reason to ever pay anything other than the lowest price available for any given item. Have fun, shop around for the lowest price, and never leave the comfort of your own home!
