Stash Earl Grey Black Tea Review
If you ask people what tea is, many people say that tea is a drink made by infusing the dried, crushed leaves of the tea plant in boiling water. For me however tea is so much more than that. I tend to have my cup of tea late at night when everyone is in bed and it’s nice and quiet. So for me tea means a moment when I can reflect on my day and allow myself to be able to rejuvenate and rest from all of the day’s stress. Tea for me is the elixir of life and it’s one that is a lot like me. You see tea is gorgeous, stronger than you think, it can beat the life out of stress and look great doing it.
Just like me!
Earl Grey tea is one of my favorite teas to enjoy. Stash Tea has some of the best teas I have tried. It is clear that this company takes care in using top quality tea, flowers/blossoms and flavorings. Over the years, I have tried several of its teas and I have many of theirs that I like. But it’s this Earl Grey that is my favorite. This tea from Stash has a very rich and complex black tea flavor with no bitterness, even after cooling. Which is why I also enjoy it on ice. The bergamot taste is an amazing hearty citrus flavor. And as you can see in the picture below, it has a really great color to it. It also has an amazing aroma.
I have also heard that Earl Grey tea is shown to boost metabolism and lower the bad cholesterol (and raise the good cholesterol). Regardless of it’s benefits this tea tastes so good, and it really helps me to unwind and relax. Which is why I drink it and why I consider it the best tea I’ve ever had.
I’m not the only one that thinks that though. My son who loves to drink tea (even though I only let him have a couple cups a week) absolutely loves it too. He actually tried to hide the box of it once he tried it! 🙂 He says this is his ultimate favorite tea and the only one we should buy.
In this picture he had stayed home with strep and tea helps to soothe his throat. So he made some as soon as he woke up. As you can tell this tea takes priority, even brushing his hair takes second place. 🙂

The Stash Tea Company was founded in Portland in 1972 and operated out of an old Victorian-style house, supplying loose herbal teas and bulk herbs to natural food stores. In 1975, the company broadened its focus to include bagged teas and began to sell a full line of traditional, specialty blend, and herbal teas directly to fine restaurants and through a mail order catalog to consumers.
