Kane’s Donuts Review & Giveaway!

My boys love letting their creativity run loose. So when we heard that Kane’s Donuts had their Kits for sale we knew it was time to try them out! Our closest Kane’s Donuts is an hour away, but we have heard so many great things about them we just had to try them out. So we all got in the car and headed to Saugus MA. We visited Kane’s Donuts on Rt. 1. The first thing we liked about the place was the delicious aroma that hit us the minute we opened the door.

The shop itself was beautiful, and the display case drew us in with all the amazingly delicious looking donuts. We each picked a donut each and a donut kit. The donut kit came in a white box with the Kane’s Donuts logo on it.

Inside we found six of their delicious cake donuts just waiting to be decorated and personalized.

Under the donuts, we found everything we needed to decorate. There was vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate frosting. Crushed Oreo’s, mini M&Ms, mini marshmallows, chocolate sprinkles, and rainbow sprinkles.

We had so much fun decorating our donuts and there was plenty of frosting and toppings for all six. Now that I told you about the donut kit, let me tell you about the 4 donuts we picked.

My oldest picked the Cookies & Cream cake donut. This was a decadent and rich! My youngest picked the Plain Chocolate Frosted donut, which was more delicious than any other chocolate frosted donut we have ever tried. Aaron chose the Strawberry Frosted, which he insists is and I quote “the best donut in the world”. My hubby chose the Honey-Dip which is their most popular and signature donut. Once we all tried it we understood why that is. The Honey-Dip is the best tasting donut, and it left us wanting more.
