Toffee Mocha Protein Shake Recipe

I have been doing intermittent fasting and I am loving it. That being said when the time comes to break my fast I like to break it with something high in protein. That’s where this super delicious toffee mocha protein shake comes in.

I actually made this recipe as a delicious mistake that I now make almost daily. I went to grab my usual caramel coffee pod but grabbed a Sundae Toffee Crunch pod instead. I didn’t even realize it until I tasted it and thought “OMG this is amazing!”. I checked the coffee machine and sure enough, it was a toffee crunch pod. Now even the hubby makes this protein shake on the weekends.

Many of you know that I love ice cream flavored coffees. But this Toffee Crunch flavored coffee from the Sundae brand is absolutely delicious. It’s smooth, without any bitterness and the perfect amount of sweetness. Whenever I am craving an ice cream, I brew myself a cup of this coffee and I am all set. I also add a splash of heavy cream for some creaminess. This coffee is perfectly sweet, I love it when I don’t have to add any additional sweeteners to my coffee. All the flavor without any of the guilt!

Toffee Mocha Protein Shake

Ingredients

1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use this one)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use this one)
6 oz brewed cold coffee
6 oz unsweetened almond milk
1 cup ice

Instructions

Add all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until desired consistency is reached.

If smoothie is too thick or thin for your liking, adjust ice or almond milk to taste.
