As parents, the hubby and I always worry about the eye health of our boys. When we heard about EyePromise I couldn’t wait to give it a try. Keep reading to find out more about it and our thoughts.

We limit the time our boys spend on their gaming consoles. However, living in the age of technology they do spend quite some time in front of screens. Between using their Chromebooks at school and home, their cell phones, gaming consoles, and tv the boys do spend time on screens. Which is why I worry about their vision.

The first thing I did was take the bottles to our eye doctor and have her take a look. I wanted to make sure that these supplements would be good for my boys to take. She looked them over and told me that they would be fine to take. She was surprised to see what they included and knew they would be beneficial. So we started taking them.

Let’s start by talking about EyePromise Screen Shield Teen.

Screen Shield Teen is a once-daily chewable eye vitamin developed by doctors and designed to increase the eye’s protective barrier that may help defend developing eyes against the potentially harmful effect of too much screen time. I like that they are non-synthetic, with all-natural zeaxanthin. And that they can be taken alongside a multivitamin.

These are fruit punch-flavored and formulated with paprika-derived zeaxanthin and other eye-healthy antioxidant nutrients targeting children from the ages of 4 to 17. So it’s perfect for my boys, while they aren’t crazy about the flavor, they take it without any issue. And have been incorporated successfully into our daily vitamin routine.

So you’re probably wondering if we have noticed any change since we started taking them. As far as the boys, both Aaron and Matt have noticed that their eyes don’t get as tired as they used to. They would tell me usually at the end of the day that their eyes would hurt or that their eyes hurt. I noticed that after 4 days of taking the Screen Shield Teen they didn’t mention their eyes to me at all. I also noticed that they wouldn’t rub at their eyes as much. After a couple of weeks, they don’t rub at their eyes at all. You may have noticed that the bottle brings 30 tablets, that’s a month’s worth for one child. My hubby has been trying this one out for us. He suffers from eye strain daily and always complains about the glare when driving at night. He also suffers from excess tissue in his eyes. This excess tissue causes his eyes to look really red all the time. So he couldn’t wait to give this supplement a try.

Screen Shield Pro is a softgel that you take once daily with a meal. After just 3 days of taking it, he noticed a relief in his eye strain. And after one week he has noticed less redness and better visibility.

Because of the excess tissue in his eyes he has eye exams every 6 months, to make sure it’s not growing too fast. He has had some of the tissue removed once already last year. After 2 weeks of taking Screen Shield Pro, he had his 6-month eye exam and the eye doctor said his eyes were significantly better. So, of course, we purchased more and he will be continuing to take it.
