Stuffed Puffs ~ A New Kid/Family Friendly product!

We are huge s’mores lovers in our home, we have them year round. So we were super excited when we received this package from Stuffed Puffs!

Prior to receiving these Stuffed Puffs, we had not heard of them. Whenever we make s’mores we always use the basic ingredients of marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate. Stuffed Puffs have a melt-ready chocolate filling packed into a soft marshmallow shell. This is a great feature because sometimes I can’t get my chocolate to really melt into the graham cracker when I make s’mores. Have you ever had this little issue?

When it comes to the chocolaty filling it is super creamy and smooth! It tastes so good that if I could find it for sale by itself I would definitely buy it. 🙂

Okay so now for the s’mores test… When it comes to making smores over the fire (this is how we love our s’mores), it wasn’t as good as we hoped. Every time (and we tried several times) the chocolate center would melt before the marshmallow could roast completely. This made the Stuffed Puffs fall off our roasting sticks. 🙁 However when we made s’mores in the broiler (which we do a few times a year) these worked perfectly. Having both the marshmallow and the chocolate melt equally onto the graham cracker.

Bottom line: Stuffed Puffs taste great! I found my boys eating them on their own and not so much as s’mores. So if you’re looking for a yummy marshmallow treat to have every once and a while these are great. For s’mores however, we will be sticking to the traditional ingredients.
